today,no,yestoday,i update my gentoo,it's working 20 days,i didn't saw what need update,just enter and reboot.
13.12,and it's go to X,the mouse ,keyboard didn't working,i thought maybe the ati 7670m or intel pro,took me nine hours found
x11-drivers/xf86-input-evdev-2.9.1,that version had a bug,downgrade will be fine!




today,i update again,it works fine.
i guess maybe before it completed,i run "amdcccle",
or something else
whatever.

Can you post your /var/log/Xorg.0.log?

After updating x11-base/xorg-server you should reemerge all X11 modules. Just

emerge -1av @x11-module-rebuild
