hello gentoo people
so I will get me some bitcoins, and i plan on keeping cold wallet on raspberry pi with some OS.
By default, that OS will never sniff internet again, so updates are out.
So i need some light distro, for rPi, and i do not mind compiling time for gentoo, if results in stable, long-term stable OS, otherwise, what OS would you recommend?
Thank you _________________ Kind regards, Goran Mitic

There is debian version tuned and compiled for pi. You can also build your own system if you want. There are many ways to do that.
No updates = no problem. Updates allow you get new stuff you want, fix old bugs, and keep it maintanable. If the image you prepaire has everything you want, and is not exposed to potential attacks, you don't even have to keep it maintanable. You simply deploy it and forget. |
