Reason: refering to someone as "herr" (ie, geman, nazi, and all that) in violation of the CoC. Given the age of the first thread its just being bumped for this purpose, and to taunt (a3li) who's subscribed to that thread (obviously in relation to, or retaliation for, the ban). |

shut your pie hole kazam... herr means mr. i don't mind your anti-bacon pro-muslim anti-semitism because you're not being vindictive with bans running parts of the site. last ban he said i was threatening, i didn't say i was from the USA leading up to that.... 1st time i say the ruby ebuilds were stupid, so im banned on the wiki for a month??? now i post delete templates on content i published, and im perm banned??? called a liar for saying the old file templates on the page were screwed up?? im not sure if a3li cant read american english well, or if he's petty.... |

Don't worry, it looks like someone who cares a little more for quality over quantity has made the useful edit to that page that you wouldn't.
I see you've removed the link to your wiki edit history from your sig - when it's full of gems like this I can see why... |

That impotent reputation-suicide made my day
I wonder how long it'll take funtoo to wise up and ban him too. Everything he's touched on *their* wiki looks like a youtube comments page; they don't have the manpower to clean up after it. |

According to his own public claims, he's a 30-yr-old white american male who thinks detailed SEO guides belong on a distro wiki. People can draw their own conclusions from that. |

Ant ... what reputation? If you're not, as in your case, an "ass pounder", then you're a "twat", or "douche nozzle". I've had the "anti-bacon" business for some time (he seems to think I'm a muslim for some reason).
So, having received a ban from the wiki (and #gentoo, and #gentoo-chat) he's back to the forum to bump a 3yo thread so he can have a quick dig at "herr a3li" ... its about as predictable as they come.
You probably don't earn any sympathy from infra (which of course a3li is a member) by calling them "twats", but then if your entire reputation consists of name calling and making a nuisance of yourself then its no surprise you get banned. It wasn't suicide, it was gravity.

My point is: now that he's done burning his bridges here, he thinks he can skip along on his merry little way back to (what he thinks are) his peers at Funtoo.
But karma will catch up to him; the internet remembers everything. And indexes it. And makes a person's entire past trivially searchable. Especially when they use the same name everywhere.
I was curious why the Funtoo community would be more tolerant of revolting internet trolls. Here's my findings after a day of research:
There's nobody there!
Their entire site - it's a wiki - is an unmoderated ghost town turned into one spammer's personal graffiti wall. And now anyone trying to learn about Funtoo in depth will only find — to use his own word — garbage. |

So, having received a ban from the wiki (and #gentoo, and #gentoo-chat) |
Reputation doesn't always mean "good reputation".
Someone that was ban from irc, wiki and now forum indeed can claim owning one. |

krinn ... yes, I know, I wasn't really arguing with Ant in that regard, my point was that the act of "suicide" requires a living subject, or reputation (ie, something of substance), to enact, and that this was long since void of life. So, more like the action of gravity than anything.
