I want to be able to transfer files to and from my phone. Bluez is installed but it would be a royal pain to do everything bluetooth via CLI. Can't emerge, here is my build.log

I just can't win. Decided to try bluedevil instead and it installed 100% fine. Even runs. Problem is it says no adaptor detected. Mine is plugged in and working. It worked fine under Debian but is not detected under Gentoo.

dmesg sees it and knows what it is.

Grrrr half fixed. Messed up default option in Gentoo's genkernel. It enables all bluetooth options, except......wait for it.......Bluetooth USB. Kind of hidden in the BT subsystem menu, would think it would make sense being among all the usb support options. So, ticked the option, recompiled kernel, and voila! Was driving me crazy thinking either my device was no longer supported or I set bluetooth up wrong somehow, or needed an unknown special setting. Well, it kind of was the last thing, since no threads anywhere on the subject suggested checking for that in menuconfig, Maybe posting the solution will save the life of someone else's computer by avoiding it being chucked out a window.

The issue compiling Blueman(which I prefer to Bluedevil due to interface) still exists. Saw it is a bug in the package list for Gentoo but installing the missing dependency that it does not list does not work(I had it already installed).
