I notice when playing video with the new very fast Mach64 xv support causes the pink overlay to bleed through, (even the Xine logo) I heard Bazik had Mach64+Xfree 4.3.99.902 and wanted check if people other than me had seen this. _________________ Inspiron 4100 & Sun UltraAXe

There is no fix for this possible. IIRC there is an entry in the Xine FAQ that too small video memory causes these color problems. _________________ Gentoo Linux/Sparc Developer

So more video memory is used when XV is being used? The video played fine before, just it was more choppy. It is almost like watching a TV that isn't fully tuned in. _________________ Inspiron 4100 & Sun UltraAXe

Have You tried to play the same video with mplayer to see if it's a Xine Problem or a XV problem? I have mplayer installed but no Xine, and playing videos on my mach64 (ATI Rage 3D LT pro) with mplayer using XV video output causes no problems.

Does your card have 4 MB memory like the onboard in the Sun Workstations or is it a PCI card? _________________ Gentoo Linux/Sparc Developer

Yes, I just checked the technical docs on sun's site and it does have 4mb memory (soldered on video like the u5 or u10)
For all intents and purposes it is a U5/U10 without a UPA slot in an ATX case. (With PS/2 ports) _________________ Inspiron 4100 & Sun UltraAXe
