|
|
Hello guys,
I changed my system to a hardened Gentoo profile, and all worked fine, except 2 things:
- NVidia driver - is masked out of hardened profile, ok with that
- Pulseaudio with runtime use flag.
The problem is that pulseaudio depends on runtime kit, but in the logs I see that the runtime kit do a chroot to /proc, drop privileges and after that try to change the pulseaudio
to realtime priority... (all the chroot jail options are enable for security on the kernel)
Besides removing realtime use flag, I continue with the org.bluez error:
Code: |
gentoo dbus[2447]: [system] Activating service name='org.bluez' (using servicehelper)
gentoo dbus[2447]: [system] Activated service 'org.bluez' failed: Launch helper exited with unknown return code 1
gentoo pulseaudio[3047]: [pulseaudio] bluez5-util.c: GetManagedObjects() failed: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.Spawn.ChildExited: Launch helper exited with unknown return code 1
|
This is the only problem I have with hardened profile, aparently is related to privileges too
Anyone already experienced this error? There's some fix?
Thanks,
Mario |

Do you still have this issue? Did you find a solution? |

It's solved: I re-emerged
sys-firmware/bluez-firmware
net-wireless/bluez
net-libs/libbluedevil
dev-python/pybluez
net-wireless/bluez-hcidump |
