Quick info:
The main drive has one partition formated for btrfs.
Kernel: 3.17.1-r1-gentoo
Btrfs-progs: 3.16.2

The system runs fine, as far as I know, but I'm a bit concerned about the kernel messages below.

Code:

Oct 21 08:37:13 localhost kernel: BTRFS: couldn't get super buffer head for bytenr 274877906944
Oct 21 08:37:43 localhost kernel: BTRFS: couldn't get super buffer head for bytenr 274877906944
Oct 21 08:38:13 localhost kernel: BTRFS: couldn't get super buffer head for bytenr 274877906944
Oct 21 08:38:43 localhost kernel: BTRFS: couldn't get super buffer head for bytenr 274877906944
Oct 21 08:39:14 localhost kernel: BTRFS: couldn't get super buffer head for bytenr 274877906944
Oct 21 08:39:45 localhost kernel: BTRFS: couldn't get super buffer head for bytenr 274877906944
Oct 21 08:40:15 localhost kernel: BTRFS: couldn't get super buffer head for bytenr 274877906944
Oct 21 08:40:45 localhost kernel: BTRFS: couldn't get super buffer head for bytenr 274877906944
Oct 21 08:41:15 localhost kernel: BTRFS: couldn't get super buffer head for bytenr 274877906944
Oct 21 08:41:46 localhost kernel: BTRFS: couldn't get super buffer head for bytenr 274877906944

I'd like a little more information about this because most of my kernel log is composed of this message.[/i]

related patch/content that gets triggered:

https://www.mail-archive.com/linux-btrfs@vger.kernel.org/msg24229.html

not sure how to really make sense out of it, besides:

did you restore your system from a stage4, etc. tarball ?

is this a new install with recent kernel change ?

seems to be semi-malign or benign at most

did you run a scrub or btrfsck on the mentioned partition ?
