Subject says it all. How do I do I reset or renew an ip lease at the command line. I have done some googling and found multiple references to but Gentoo doesn't seem to have that command and I can't find it in portage.
I have a problem that when I suspend to RAM while on a LAN when waking up the network is not found nor is the etho interface. Even if I unplug the cable and re-plug it in Gentoo won't see it. Rebooting is the only thing that fixes it. Has anybody else had this problem? |

Have you tried '/etc/init.d/net.eth0 restart' as root?
or 'dhcpcd -k' follow ed by 'dhcpcd' |
