Are you sure you have the "mad" flag set?
What happens exactly? Are mp3 files visible in moc's internal file browser? If yes, what happens when you start a song -- does it skip right to the next one or does it seem to be playing, but without any actual sound? |

These are the packages that would be merged, in order:
Calculating dependencies .... ..... done!
[ebuild R ] media-sound/moc-2.5.0_beta1-r1 USE="aac alsa cache curl ffmpeg flac mad magic unicode vorbis -debug -jack -libsamplerate -modplug -musepack -oss -sid -sndfile -speex -timidity -tremor -wavpack" 0 kB
Total: 1 package (1 reinstall), Size of downloads: 0 kB | When I try to play a .mp3 file, it says "Unsupported sample size!" and moves on the next playable file
/* UPDATE */
It seems that compiling moc with "mad" and "ffmpeg" causes confliction between the two. I recompiled it with only with the "mad" use flag and its working perfectly. |
