Hi all,

I am having problems to get my Logitech F310 gamepad working. When I connect the pad it seems to get recognized, however, it is immediately disconnected afterwards:

Code:
[Thu Sep 11 18:48:11 2014] usb 2-1.2: new full-speed USB device number 8 using ehci-pci
[Thu Sep 11 18:48:11 2014] input: Logitech Logitech Dual Action as /devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1d.0/usb2/2-1/2-1.2/2-1.2:1.0/0003:046D:C216.0005/input/input11
[Thu Sep 11 18:48:11 2014] hid-generic 0003:046D:C216.0005: input: USB HID v1.11 Joystick [Logitech Logitech Dual Action] on usb-0000:00:1d.0-1.2/input0
[Thu Sep 11 18:48:12 2014] usb 2-1.2: USB disconnect, device number 8

I would like to use the pad in Trackmania 2 (TM2) running in Wine. At the bottom of the pad there is a switch labelled X (to the left) and D (to the right). I always have it on 'D' and it works fine in TM2 on Windows. When putting the switch to the 'X' position it seems to get recognized as an X-Box compatible device since the xpad module is loaded:

Code:
[Thu Sep 11 18:56:00 2014] usb 2-1.2: new full-speed USB device number 10 using ehci-pci
[Thu Sep 11 18:56:00 2014] input: Logitech Gamepad F310 as /devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1d.0/usb2/2-1/2-1.2/2-1.2:1.0/input/input13
[Thu Sep 11 18:56:00 2014] usbcore: registered new interface driver xpad

However, in this mode it doesn't work correctly in TM2 as some buttons cannot be assigned, for example the two lower front buttons. They are treated as an analog Axis as if they were on a joystick and thus can't be used as acceleration button, for example. This is also under Windows.

It seems that for working in TM2 the switch must be set to 'D', but then again, as described above, it doesn't stay connected. Does anybody know how to get it to work?

Many TIA!
