|
|
Hi, ALL,
I meed the pysqlite to be installed on my system, but I can't find this package in Portage.
Its python library for accessing sqlite database files.
Code: |
IgorDellGentoo utils # emerge -pv pysqlite
These are the packages that would be merged, in order:
Calculating dependencies... done!
emerge: there are no ebuilds to satisfy "pysqlite".
emerge: searching for similar names...
emerge: Maybe you meant any of these: dev-db/sqlite, dev-ruby/sqlite3, sys-fs/pysize?
|
And I also need google.protobuf with its python bindings.
Can I use python' easy_install on Gentoo? If yes how do I get it?
Could someone help please?
Thank you.

Teegrins, ONEEYEMAN!
I believe the package was removed (see bug 452122).
I can't say for sure, but I'd wager a guess that you're looking for the dev-lang/python USE-flag sqlite: Add support for sqlite - embedded sql database.
If that is not it, then you shall have my apologies (it was just a guess after all!).
I do hope this helps! _________________ Kindest of regardses. |

Yup, that's the one.
What about protobuf?
Thank you. |

For protobuf, do you not get what you need from dev-libs/protobuf with USE=python? |

Hu,
Yep, that the one. Didn't see it for some reason.
Thank you. |
