Hi All
I need the library libldapcpp on my gentoo installation. On the internet, I have found only .rpm packages. How can I get libldapcpp?
OpenLDAP is installed and also glibc and gcc.

It's part of the net-nds/openldap package but is only built if certain USE flags are set. Rebuild with the cxx USE flag set and the minimal USE flag unset (be sure to specify --oneshot) and you'll get the library. For instance: | Code: | | USE="cxx -minimal" emerge -1v openldap |
Of course, you'll probably want to make those USE flags permanent.

Finaly the command

solved my problem. Afterwards I added those USE flags in /etc/portage/make.conf
