I couldn't really find anything with a search, so I do apologize if there is already an existing thread. I was just wondering if it would be possible to install Gentoo from a CrunchBang install. I have my Lenovo Thinkpad x61 loaded with it, and I want to experiment with Gentoo. If it's possible could somebody maybe post some tips? I've browsed the handbook a little. I have a flash drive with the livecd on it.

Thanks.

You can use any liveCD or any existing linux installation. The only limitation: if you planning to install x86_64, you must start with x86_64 liveCD as well.
Boot and follow the handbook.

See Installing Gentoo from an existing Linux distribution on the Gentoo Wiki.

After that, if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. ;)

I very much appreciate this. I'll be sure to give it a in depth read. :)

Hopefully if all goes well, I'll has this thing running Gentoo soon.
