At the moment when I get new email, a there is momentarily popup small window at the bottom screen -
How can I have constant notify so I will not need to check for new email?

I install FireTray add-on which minimizes icon to tray and shows how many unread emails I have.

I installed FireTray according your recommendation and it is very nice!
I prefer the 'new message' notify - I have many unread emails so it is not useful for me

Thanks

Why not simply do Thunderbird -> Preferences -> General

When new messages arrive, check 'Show an alert' then click the 'Customize...' button.

Update the "Show New Mail Alert for ??? seconds" to something like 3600.0 (the maximum), meaning the popup will stay there for an hour.

Is that good enough? :)

No... We worth more...
FireTray is ok but when I 'Reset Icon' I do not get alert for new messages??
Is there another addon for alerting new massages?
I used Thunderbird a year ago and there was very good feature built in -
It was very efficient and simple - I do not know why they removed it?
