Do you have any idea how much work it would be to "remove the fur, teeth, and bones" of a woolly mammoth with nothing but your hands and some sharp stones, while every predator within ten kilometers is trying to kill you to take it?

I saw something recently indicating the allergies weren't to wheat, but a specific part of it (I forget which). The end result isn't meaningfully different, but I thought it was interesting.

predators are just food. And I have pretty good teeth, since part of my job is to byte off the heads of superfluos workforce.

Gluten. Wheat is seen as most the harmful grain because of this.

Bones McCracker, the cavemen of your picture are almost laughing the predators (wolves in the figure).

The saying goes, when large game hunting, the fun ends when you have an animal on the ground. I've dressed out and skinned my share of elk in my day, and it is a lot of work. Skinning a mammoth would be a son of a gun.

The word "caveman" comes from the Victorian era misconception that our ancestors generally lived in caves (a result of most of the archaeological evidence of their existence, particularly that of the era, having been found in caves). Take my word for it: they didn't.

As to the picture, you are mistaken. If you look closely at them, you can see that they are like, "God dammit, Ogg, hurry the fuck up before more wolves arrive! You always take too long, and you know what happened to Tuk last time" :P

No, it was the germ, or something else, I don't recall which. It was specifically not gluten, which is what gets the bad rap.

Tuk was forced to eat wolf for the rest of the week and you know how disgusting that stuff is.

It's wheat germ agglutinin (WGA), a type of lectin.

EDIT: I've found an excellent article about the two known problematic type of lectins for humans: prolamins and agglutinins

I don't recall the terms or source (it was a different person), but that seems likely to be the same thing.

People who can't eat wheat or milk should be sterilized. For the common good, of course.

Modern medicine too readily keeps what Darwin would have kicked to the curb.

Wheat Germ Agglutinins (WGA) are one type of Plant Lectin. Plant Lectins are one type of Plant Protein. See more here.
Glutens are one type of Prolamin. Prolamins are one type of Seed Storage Protein. Seed Storage Proteins are one type of Plant Protein. See more here.

Sometimes it's quite annoying the use of some terms. Like gluten. It is a family of protein composites. But people generally consider it as the specific protein composite of wheat.

Here is a decent explanation:
http://robbwolf.com/2013/02/28/wheat-germ-agglutinin/

The problem with reading all this shit is that pretty soon you're left with nothing you can eat.

At least you know what is most and less problematic to eat.

Piles and piles of raw fucking carrots, kale, and broccoli. Thanks. And that's if you classify farting like a banshee "not a problem".

By the way, tofu gives you man-boobs and makes your penis shrink (I shit you not).

I've read somewhere that the last major genetic change in humans was the ability to consume cow's milk without blowing up from all the gasses it once caused.

Nah the latest major genetic change is GMO eugenics.
