!!! Error: couldn't find match for "#" in kde-base/kdeaddons-3.1_beta1

any suggestions :cry:

Sounds like a Portage problem. What version of portage are you running? Does updating it help?

ive resynced like 5 times and im running portege... uhhh how do i find out?

this worked before, then i edited the kdeaddons ebuild :oops:

and it didnt work, so i deleted the whole kde-base folder and tried again

did you unmask the kde beta builds, im not sure what error it gives when you try to emerge a masked build, but it was worth a shot

i had to edit the kde3.1 ebuild, delete the entrys for kdeaddons and it works, ill get the tarball for that package off the net
