Hello! I have been attempting to build nfs-utils and I have been bumping into issues with rpc bind.
Emerge --info:

It appears that I am missing a .h file, but I am not sure what to do from here. I am having a similar problem with a buld of syslog-ng (just with a different .h file).
I am nearly a complete noob to Gentoo (this is my first post), so I am assuming that I am just missing something.
Your help is greatly appreciated!

It looks like your /usr/include directory may be corrupt or not fully populated.
From my machine, the file you want is installed from Glibc, but you're using uclibc which may explain the discrepancy.

May have to ask upstream for uclibc to include the file and/or routines in the library, you may want to see if a later version exists first...

[soapbox]
personally I find that uclibc isn't worth the pain as most packages depend on files in the full glibc. If you're running off a hard disk and have more than 256MB RAM, life is a lot easier with the full glibc.
