Edit: Thanks to some helpful people on #gentoo, I now know that USE_PYTHON doesn't support 3.4 and is subject to be dropped in the future anyway. So fixing that, it worked.

--original posting--

I wanted to give sabnzbd a try, but trying to merge it fails on dev-python/pythonutils-0.4.0 with

Code:
die "USE_PYTHON variable contains invalid value '${PYTHON_ABI}'";

I've got
Code:
USE_PYTHON="2.7 3.4"
PYTHON_TARGETS="python2_7 python3_4"
in make.conf and 2.7 is the active one selected via eselect python.

Not seeing related bugs on bgo nor anything in these forums, so the question is: a) bug? or b) do I need to make py3 the default system-wide now?

Thanks, I'm hitting this issue for Picard. I guess I'll create a bug for it, so the ebuild can be updated.

Edit: Maybe it shouldn't be a bug, I'll just remove 3.4 from my USE_PYTHON instead. I guess it uses the PYTHON_TARGETS/PYTHON_SINGLE_TARGET instead of the USE_PYTHON.
