|
|
Hi.
I have installed Gentoo amd64 + kdebase-meta.
I was making OS more sparx usable and after installing Evolution, Samba and Cups then reboot - I can't login.
When I try in KDE I type my login and password, hit ENTER and see only desktop (nothing happens and my mouse arrow has different style).
When I hit CTRL+ALT+F1 and try to login (as root or user) I see only "last login" message (no prompt).
When system is booting it says:
Code: | Ignoring invalid entry on line 11 in /usr/lib/tmpfiles.d/systemd-nologin.conf
Ignoring invalid entry on line 18 in /usr/lib/tmpfiles.d/x11.conf |
Those lines are:
systemd-nologin.conf (that's the only line in this file without #)
Code: | F! /run/nologin 0644 - - - "System is booting up. See pam_nologin(8)" |
x11.conf
Code: | r! /tmp/.X[0-9]*-lock |
My log files:
kdm.log
Code: | http://pastebin.com/p08bE7WM |
Xorg.0.log
Code: | http://pastebin.com/P3SfSKAa |
/var/log/messages (It's long and I am running recovery so there can be logs where I sucessfully logged
Code: | http://wklej.org/id/1328664 |
I am new to Gentoo (like You can see ) so if any additional information is needed please state where I can find it. (My spidey senses think is sth with dbus)
Needless to say - I won't be able to face that alone so - HELP

Problem solved by reinstalling the OS.
Shade from #gentoo-pl solved it by looking at the logs.
Reason was simple - my noobnes with emerge cleaning damaged the system |
