Hi all,
I have a very long list after each emerge suggesting me to run emerge @preserved-rebuild. Unfortunately, I find it impossible to run this command:
Code: | emerge @preserved-rebuild
These are the packages that would be merged, in order:
Calculating dependencies... done!
emerge: there are no ebuilds to satisfy "dev-lang/v8:0".
(dependency required by "@preserved-rebuild" [argument])

Indeed, v8 does not exist anymore in the tree. I have no idea why it is required by emerge @preserved-rebuild. Can anybody help me?

You probably have it in @world set. You can
emerge -c v8
Before this action, what does say: equery d v8 |
