|
|
After struggling a bit with a issue with a new bug that popped up today, I found a quick fix for Nvidia users who update their drivers and get this issue when opening steam or other 32bit opengl apps:
Code: | OpenGL GLX context is not using direct rendering, which may cause performance problems |
The default USE flags for the nvidia drivers changed from having multilib enabled by default to "-multilib"
The fix is to just add the multilib flag to x11-drivers/nvidia-drivers in your package.use.
I'm putting this here so anyone googling this issue might be able to stumble across this post. If this is the wrong section to post in, please let me know and I'll move it. |

Thank you! I've googled this and it seems to have solved my problem. |

On the other hand, I don't get this error message any more, but the game display is now too white :-/ |
