|
|
I'm not sure what's going on but for about a month now the following icons in my systray are smaller than the native icons such as volume and bluetooth
hp device manager
vmware workstation
gapcmon from apcupsd
anything custom that I embed in tray --example porthole
If I increase the height of my lower panel, those icons no longer scale, all others do _________________ Billy DeVincentis |

I read somewhere it was related to the monitor DPI value, my monitor is 113 DPI and I have the same problem.
Still looking for more info as well.
there was this http://chakra-project.org/bbs/viewtopic.php?pid=79610
and googling "kde system tray dpi icon size" turns up other results.

Pardon me for this abrasive post, but a patch will not be enough here. The Kde task bar is like the cross that Jesus carry on. It should be design from scratch again to not make it configuration tool a yoke.
I will say it again, even if it's not true, the Kde task bar, including the systray, is one of the worst piece of software I ever seen.

In returning my font settings to the default sans serif, the problem solved itself. _________________ Billy DeVincentis |
