Hello, I upgraded my kernel and am having problems booting. I'm looking for some advice. The problem is, it seems my imsm raid device which used to be /dev/md126p* is no longer there. During boot I see a message saying that the array has been created at /dev/md/System_0. The next message says that /dev/md126p2 is not a valid boot device. The real_problem is that the system hangs before I can drop into a shell to find the new device (either it hangs or the keyboard stops working!)
The live cd is creating the old names at /dev/md126p* .
Any ideas how I can find out the correct device name to put into grub? Or why I can drop into a shell mid boot? |

I would resetup the array and make a mdadm.conf and save it in your etc folder _________________ Gentoo Rocks thanks! |
