|
|
After I've configured kernel so that network drivers would be built-in I can't reboot/shutdown, as the process stops at
Code: | kvm: exiting hardware virtualization |
Also, when I boot my notebook there is a mention of a bug that might be related to the issue
The bug, when I boot; My kernel config
Thanks for any response! |

Reboot/shutdown problems after an oops are plausible. You need to avoid the oops in the first place. If you build a kernel without the ath9k driver, does the oops go away? |

Yes, when I disable cfg80211, mac80211, rfkill and everything related to atheros network adapters, I have no bugs at boot and shutdown goes perfectly well but I lose my wireless network interface.
Also, when I had 32-bit Gentoo installed, I had no problems with the issue |
