Is there any way to open a .wps file in Abiword? Can libreoffice open this type of file? |

Libreoffice can open a .wps file, I just put LO on a friends computer so he could do that.

I was hoping I could get away with using abiword instead of libreoffice. Any way to get abiword to open this? |

Don't know about abiword, but if you emerge libwps it will give you these tools:

Thank you George. All I had to do was enable the wordperfect USE flag for abiword. |

I was wrong. It's not working. How could I look into this further? I've sent two requests to subscribe to the Abiword mailing list but no response. |

Enabling the openxml USE flag got .docx files working. Maybe it helps with .wps too. |
