Hello,
I have
Code:
Realtek Semiconductor Corp. RTS5139 Card Reader

in my Laptop and it seems to work properly. When I use the SD card all is OK.
But when I insert MMC card and try to enter into it under Dolphin I get this
http://i.piccy.info/i8/b798c59650d9a8498384e8bce94917a5/1382872542/160543/637660/33.png
On second click it enters MMC.
There is no any errors in dmesg.

What's wrong?

No, the MMC is empty (freshly formatted).

Do you label your partitions? Do your /home-partition and the partition on the stick both have "Home" set as label?

Strange things :?
I did the formatting several times - last I did that under Windows (just for experiment).
And fdisk showed this:
Code:
localhost # fdisk /dev/sdb
Welcome to fdisk (util-linux 2.22.2).

Changes will remain in memory only, until you decide to write them.
Be careful before using the write command.

Command (m for help): p

Disk /dev/sdb: 513 MB, 513802240 bytes, 1003520 sectors
Units = sectors of 1 * 512 = 512 bytes
Sector size (logical/physical): 512 bytes / 512 bytes
I/O size (minimum/optimal): 512 bytes / 512 bytes
Disk identifier: 0x6f20736b

This doesn't look like a partition table
Probably you selected the wrong device.

Device Boot      Start         End      Blocks   Id  System
/dev/sdb1   ?   778135908  1919645538   570754815+  72  Unknown
/dev/sdb2   ?   168689522  2104717761   968014120   65  Novell Netware 386
/dev/sdb3   ?  1869881465  3805909656   968014096   79  Unknown
/dev/sdb4   ?           0  3637226495  1818613248    d  Unknown

Partition table entries are not in disk order

Command (m for help):

That MMC was used in eBook device (linux based), but why there are so many partitions?
Anyway the problem is solved after formatting with fdisk.
