During one of my trip, I get a VCD which is very hard to rip. I try every thing I could, I was able to get the different songs as mpeg files, which is what I want, but the last 2 songs are not good. One have a terrific video quality, and the other stop in the middle. I get some errors at the console when ripping them, and It is not much to do with these 2.
I try cdrdao, this is the only software that give me no error at the console. What I have with it is one .bin file and one .toc file. I can play the bin file with mplayer, and the last 2 songs are much better than the first rip. How can I extract the individual files as mpeg files from the bin file? _________________ "Confirm You are a robot." - the singularity |

mount the image of the vcd on loop device and look into it's folder structure.
VCD's can have the following folders :
VCD, MPEGAV, CDDA, SEGMENT, KARAOKE, EXT, CDI
You will want to look into MPEGAV, the files in that folder are probable named avseqXX.dat. These are the individual mpeg files.
You can either keep them as is or transcode them with ffmpeg. |
