Some of you may remember, several months ago my girlfriend was trashing my house and punching me, well now she is my ex.

Here is the story.

I went to Northern Territory for work for 2 1/2 weeks, and I fell in love there with the most beautiful italian woman on the planet. We had a great time and both of us loved every minute of the 3 days we've been together. We have natural chemistry and strong connection. I told her I'm in love, and she said she's in love too. Unfortunately I've had an existing 5 year relationship and she has an ex boyfriend of a few years who she still feels something to, and we decided that we must solve our problems first before we can continue developing our relationship. I guess she is still attached to the memories of her ex and can't move on just yet. I got back and was honest with my now ex and I broke up with her. Yet again, there was things being smashed, punches thrown (at me), a lot of hateful words and actions. It got to the point where I was in fear of my life and had to leave "my" house before she goes. She is now gone to her mother and I'm hoping that she's going to stay there.

I'm trying to stay optimistic that she manages to close the chapter of her life with her ex, instead of returning to him for the sake of memories.

Maybe I made the wrong decision, maybe the right one. I don't know, but I know that it's absolutely killing me that I can't be with her right now. If only the plane tickets weren't so bloody expensive, I'd go back at my own expense, but for now I have to wait.

Life story!

Yes change the locks... along with:

Your number, your address, your hairstyle, name... etc. She sounds like a crazy bitch.

Epic.

Whatever you do, don't let her entice you into bed for one last fling, or you'll end up searching the roadside for your penis.

Change the locks. Have a mutual friend help pack her stuff in boxes and deliver it to her for you. DO NOT let her back inside you place. And like BK says, do not go back inside 'her place'

Move, if you can. Women are nesting creatures, and if she's been living there, she sees that place as her nest.

Get guns. Loads and loads of guns. It won't help, but you will feel safer. Allegedly.

Move? I own this place. I think she has keys though as the house was locked when I got in after she left.

She took my Serengeti aviator glasses though, and threw my uniform in the bin.

Also deleted my photos from Northern Territory. Surprised she didn't destroy the camera.

If you left a means of contacting the other female (e.g., email or phone number), don't be surprised if she does.

How far away is this other? How often are you going to be where she lives? Is she in a position to move to where you are? Is this really a potential relationship, or just a confidence-builder that made you feel secure in giving the first one the boot?

That's the problem. She said we were going too quick and at this stage (living 2,000km away from each other) probably wouldn't work out.

I guess confidence-builder but I'd like it to be a potential relationship. We connected on so many levels! She seems to have everything that i've been looking for in a woman(physical attraction, caring, nurturing personality, likes to cook etc), she's sicilian italian but studied in czech(and can speak it, understands my culture) and sicily is my favorite place in the world(been there 3 times).

We decided to let things go easy for now untill she solves her problems of the heart with her ex.

I'm not feeling so well right now, I feel like ive double bageled my self and hurt people around me. As much as I think I had to break up with my ex sooner or later, I understand why she would hate me. I lost her family too. Her brother in law is a great guy that helped me out on many occasions.

I still hope I made the right decisions.

Have you got any such life stories of your own that you could share?

So you go away for two weeks and cheat on your girlfriend while you're traveling and now she's a "crazy bitch" for being upset??? That's pretty fucked up to pin the result of your decisions on someone else.
