Hello
I have kdenlive 0.9.6 and mlt 0.9.0. I have installed frei0r plugins and I have many frei0r filters available in kdenlive, but no filter for color balance (balanc0r). What can I do in order to get it ?
Thanks in advance
Michael
edit: I have frei0r_balanc0r.xml in proper directory, but it doesn't show in kdenlive |

I had the same problem with very old frei0r in Gentoo (1.3 - which was relased in 8 March 2011) but thanks to Alexis Ballier from 27 Aug 2013 we have a 1.4 version in portage now.
Check it now.
If you have still problem (or you do not), I suggest the best options in link bellow (click kdenlive):
http://www.mltframework.org/bin/view/MLT/BuildScripts
This is a full development package with the freshest meat - everything all together (kdenlive + frei0r + mlt + ffmefg + etc). I had ones a problem with loosing sync between audio and video, and I realized after few weeks, that problem is not in kdenlive but in old ffmpeg in Gentoo. Now I can concentrate rather on making movies, than on finding a bug, which very often comes from out of dated componetns like frei0r, mlt, ffmpeg or others.
All you need to do is:
Quote: | mkdir kdenlive
cd kdenlive
(download script to ~/kdenlive)
chmod +x build-kdenlive.sh |
and run it (everything explained in link above):
Quote: | cd kdenlive/<date>
./start-kdenlive |
