I need help, PulseAudio every time I reboot the pc does not maintain the volume settings, and the computer remains silent, no audio until 'I do not act again about setting levels. There is always some way to leave fixed volume adjustments??
i use Gentoo 64 bit desktop multilib profile.

Hmm...I had something like that happen with a recent alsa update.
Need to make sure ALSA is in your rc

rc-update show alsasound

add it if it's not in default.

Also make sure /var/lib/alsa/ exists and see if there's an asound.state in that directory. You may need to /etc/init.d/alsasound save to write into this file.
