Dears,

I want to build surveillance server by Gentoo. My current environment is as follows:
1. Gentoo OS
2. NGINX webserver
3. MYSQL
4. PHP-fpm
5. O511+ USB webcam
6. Well compiled kernel to support O511+ USB webcam, I use Cheese successfully tested.
7. Drupal CMS

I want to use webcam to monitor the server environment in real time. The NGINX can output the video in my website so that I can see it in a browser whatever from PC or Mobile phone. I have searched too many articles but seems not finding the answer. The most possible solution is to use FFMPEG, but I failed to use it finally. FFMPEG seems supporting a list of USB webcam, but unfortunately my O511+ is not in the supported list:(

Who made the similar system before, I am so appreciated to have your advice!
