[SOLVED] confusion about efi stub

I will be installing in uefi mode with lvm on luks the efi stub wiki http://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/EFI_stub_kernel states under installation to mkdir /mnt/EFI/EFI/boot and to copy the kernel image to /mnt/EFI/EFI/boot/bootx64.efi
but was wondering that I thought usually the efi partition what mounted to /boot/efi?

It does not matter where your EFI boot partition is mounted (you can even have multiple EFI boot partitions mounted to different places). Just replace /mnt/EFI/ with the mount point on your system.
