Allahu Akbar - the sole difference between terrorism and murder, apparantly.

It certainly suggests the act was carried out in the name of Allah. Violence carried out in the name of Allah inside Britain by a man making political statements, intentionally creating a bloody spectacle, and then running away and hiding? What would you call it? Football hooliganism?

Regardless of whether the victim was a soldier, they had no idea whether this soldier had ever killed any of whomever they identify as "we" or even been there. The act was specifically carried out in way to create a public spectacle and create fear and intimidation, and they ran away and hid. Terrorism is exactly what it is.

Oh, and by the way, the word you were looking for is "apparently".

Also, good thing he didn't have a gun, somebody might have been killed.

Our land ? What nationality are they then ?

Trial and then, if found guilty, hang. Of course that ain't going to happen.

Early reports claimed Somolia, others now say Nigeria.
One report indicated they did have a firearm.

I can see the point you are trying to make and you have a point.
German Muslim scholar wrote:
Who started the first world war ? Muslims ? Who started the second world war ? Muslims ? Who killed about 20 millions of Aborigines in Australia ? Muslims ?? Who sent the nuclear bombs of Hiroshima and Nagasaki ? Muslims ?? Who killed more than 100 millions of Indians in North America ? Muslims ?? Who killed more than 50 millions of Indians in south America ? Muslims ?? Who took about 180 millions of African people as slaves and 88% of them died and was thrown in Atlantic ocean ? Muslims ?? No , They weren't Muslims!!! First of all, You have to define terrorism properly... If a non-Muslim do something bad..it is crime. But if a Muslim commit same..he is terrorist... So first remove this double standard...then come to the point!!!

So ask yourself this? Are they confirmed Muslims? What was the point of this murder? Was there a message to be sent to a wider audience

Video footage of the guys who did it. They seem to be saying something, not sure what. I watched it with muted sound.

I think the US should liberate England of their problems, stat. After Iraq, Afghanistan, Vietnam, Korea this should be a doddle. Victory should be assured, for the first time since Independence! Wheee.

Wasn't random, he was a non-muslim. If we all convert it wouldn't happen

Well, for a little while it'd be fine - then it'd kick off Sunni - Jim/Shia style.

Meanwhile, in anticipation of the mass conversion to Islam, JB is thinking about
stocking a range of massive stick on beards.

Edit - this is brilliant :

betrayal of Islam

Quote:
David Cameron today condemned the Woolwich murder as a “betrayal of Islam”

Move over Obama, the UK has top dibs in the most useless leader stakes.

Without those two world wars it may have been different, spent most of our resources
there you see - in the case of WW2, administering a good botty spanking to Nazi (Godwin I know)
Germany, then having the US insistence on the breakup of Empire.

How nice, Nick Cleg is quoting the Quoran to denounce the attack...
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-22655020

Quote:

Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg has quoted the Koran to condemn the killing of a soldier in Woolwich, south-east London.

Speaking at a community event in north London, Mr Clegg said: "If anyone slays a human being, it shall be as though he killed all mankind; whereas, if anyone saves a life, it shall be as though he saved the whole of mankind

The specially-organised gathering of faith and community leaders was held in Islington in reaction to the murder of Drummer Lee Rigby on Wednesday.

I can do that as well:
Quran (2:191-193)
Quote:
"And slay them wherever ye find them, and drive them out of the places whence they drove you out, for persecution [of Muslims] is worse than slaughter [of non-believers]... but if they desist, then lo! Allah is forgiving and merciful. And fight them until persecution is no more, and religion is for Allah."

Indeed. I would think it is also another kind of betrayal.

You may need to reconcile that with the reports. Butchering someone with kitchen implements is a much more personal and committed statement. Daniel Pearl was not shot for a reason.

Knives are less lethal than guns. Accept it.
