[SOLVED] Native Portal

Just curious has anyone got Portal to work for them? I was super excited when I saw the beta for Linux, but for me it just appears in a small window and I cannot click on any text in the game menu. I'm wondering if anyone has been more lucky than me.

you mean portal as in "the cake is a lie"? for linux? where can i get it ?!?

If you already own Portal, the beta should appear in your Linux Steam menu. I'm curious to see if anyone can get it to work probably.

Works well for me, runs at 200-300 FPS. Are you using a tiling window manager? I know that ratpoison had issues with running games with Source games like Portal I had to use fluxbox temporally to get them to run.

Thanks for the suggestion, I normally use dwm. I installed openbox and Portal seems to run properly now.

Thanks for the help. I do consider the fact that it doesn't work with dwm or other tiling window managers a bug though, since I played Portal through wine with dwm, so I will probably report it though.
