What the hell I am supposed to do to have the xmame games running in full screen mode? Whatever resolution I put in the conf file or the grustibus frontend, the most part of the game appear in the screen in a small windows with the rest of the screen black. I would like to play the games to the maximum screen size possible, but I've been unable to do it.
Could anyone tell me which option to activate to do this?
Thanks. |

Look in default game settings in grustibus. The section, vector games resolution there?
Or just modify the scale and stick with it?

Yes, but whatever value I set 640x480 or 800x600 the screen when playing appears the same size (and not in full screen) I got the destop in 800x600 16bpp mode |

I presume you also tried the 'use scale value'? :/
I can't think of anything else I'm afraid but then I like playing it in a small window using scale '2'

you can compile the xmame.dga and then xmame ist able to switch the resolution. It has to be suid, then. But after doing this you can Ctrl-Alt-Home or something, and you will get fullscreen.
It's a good idea to scale the outgoing image to play in 640x480 ...
At least, that's what I do . |

I had the same problem, but I found a place in grustibus where i could set the screen size (it is probably just the "use scale value" parameter, but i cant remember, and my gentoobox wont work , if you try to make it too big, the game wont load, but 2x or 3x normal screensize usually works, and makes the games look just like MAME32.. _________________ I wish I was two puppies.
Then I could play with each other.
