Hi,

I was unable to install x11-libs/libxkbcommon-0.2.0 (~amd64) because it required x11-misc/util-macros (found that in aclocal.out).
Sadly I don't know if I should/could report that and if where (guess some bugzilla).

installs without problems here. x11-misc/util-macros-1.17 was already installed. you might try emerge again, after an emerge failure you will find suggestions for information to provide when seeking help. suggest you
Code:
emerge wgetpaste
and
Code:
 emerge --info | wgetpaste
wgetpaste /path to /build log
using the suggestions provided after the failed emerge and post the url's returned.

There was an error in the libxkbcommon ebuild, the XORG_EAUTORECONF variable was set after inherit xorg-2. It is fixed now.

The best way is to check for existing bug reports at https://bugs.gentoo.org/ and open a report if none exists.
