Hi I'd like add Scilab last version, can you advice me, how do I can? I must download package and all compile? I thing that package scilab is not in portage. I need in graphical mode like Matlab. I used at school matlab rc11, and if I check sreenshot on distributor sites, that gui looks like Matlab.
What dou you used similar Matlab?
Thank you, if you advice me. |

It appears as though scilab can be located in the 'science' overlay. Also it appears that axs's overlay (called axs) also has an ebuild for it. If you don't know how to use an overlay, research 'layman' since that is the tool you will need to get this software installed. Good luck.

On site http://jcip.net/ You can see:

You can try to search this file on another site or wait. |

xHypnos,
The ebuild cannot find the file jcip-annotations-src.jar to download, so it fails.
Find the file on the web and put it into your /usr/portage/distfiles, the ebuild will find it there. _________________ Regards,

xHypnos,
Please use wgetpaste to put the build log onto a pastebin site then tell us the URL so we can find it.
Code: | * The complete build log is located at '/var/tmp/portage/sci-mathematics/scilab-5.4.0/temp/build.log'. |
The portage failure messages say little more than 'it failed'. _________________ Regards,
