I try and fire up VLC to play a video back, and nothing happens. Well, I try again from the command line, and it shows this:

[0x9ab7098] main interface error: no suitable interface module
[0x9a3a0c8] main libvlc error: interface "default" initialization failed

I have compiled this with the qt4 and wxwidgets USE flags. Any ideas? |

Also, other qt4 applications work? Does VLC work with no GUI?

I had the same problem.
I've emerge vlc with the qt4 and wxwidgets USE flag and now the GUI works but is black as Skype. |
