You are welcome! But please note that it is an RC. Aaaaand there are more things to do to (someday) get to a real 1.0 version. ;)

If you'd like to help, please take a look at the list of open bugs, as I appreciate any and every feedback! :D

Unfortunately, new ufed does not show all USE-flags anymore: It seems that all flags containing "_" are filtered.
I can imagine that this was intentional since in many cases "_" correspond to USE_EXPAND variables.
However, there are also many USE-flags with "_" which are not USE_EXPAND. Examples: SECURITY_HAZARD, 16k_voice, action_modeswitch, all_sfx, embed_data_files, pax_kernel, sse4_1, sse2_4way.
None of these flags shows up with current ufed...

Should I open a bug for this?

That is bad, and I'll look into it.

Yes, of course. The person a bug is assigned to will be e-mailed the report then. Chances are high that a maintainer is never aware of such issues otherwise. ;)

However, I just took a look into ufed-0.90_rc1 and can see:
  • SECURITY_HAZARD (net-misc/iputils)
  • 16k_voice (app-accessibility/eflite)
  • action_modeswitch (sys-fs/udev)
  • all_sfx (app-arch/rar)
  • embed_data_files (app-text/pandoc, dev-haskell/citeproc-hs)
  • pax_kernel (multiple packages)
  • sse4_1 (media-libs/libvpx, sci-chemistry/gromacs) and
  • sse2_4way (net-misc/bfgmimer, net-misc/cgminer)
So if you can not see those flags but I can, we have two possibilities. A) You are doing something wrong (what on earth could *that* be?) or B) There is a bug that simply does not show up on my system.

In any case I tend to believe possibility B) to be by far more likely and it would really help if you opened a bug against that issue.

Thanks. Now that I know that the behaviour is indeed unintended, I analyzed the problem and found the cause. Bug opened.
