Hi,

qemu 1.2.2-r2 fails to compile during 'emerge @world'

First with this error:

Well, I have the same problem and even don't know how to fix that. Have you tried recent version?

I have a similar problem (feature AIO). I “fixed” it with

/etc/portage/package.use/fixes

Essentially the use flags are often just configure flags, and that flag seems to have been removed.

I have the same problem with 1.4.0-r1. Here's the end of the config.log in softmmu-build directory. Looks like two problems. The first gcc invocation apparently does not pass the -lpthread that it needs. The second one is expecting a symbol to be present in libaio that is not there.
