|
|
Hi,
I installed xbmc with slim but can't seem to get suspend to work ( had it working before on another machine).
I have polkit installed as in the guide, but apparently things changed since 0.105 as dicsussed in this post https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-909950-highlight-.html ( and it appears I cant easily downgrade to an earlier version).
Is there a way to achieve suspend from xbmc without polkit , for example by using pm-suspend ?
Thanks for any hints,
Alex.
PS: PM-utils work , I can suspend as root.
EDIT: Solved, it appeared I compiled XBMC without udev support... Adding UDEV makes it work, even with newer polkit.
( allthough it would still be nice to have a simpler way, like using pm-suspend). |
