It doesn't sound possible. How can seriously past it actors have top level government positions?. They might as well make a bodybuilder governor of one of the bigger states, it's just as ludicrous. Plus he is black, no way could he ever be president.

New Orleans gets lots of rain, thank God, although there's still a greasy, waxy layer of scum on everything. All cities are like that to some degree, though.

The wind matters too, when it comes to stink. Cities stink because humans and their activities and waste stink. That's why the East and South sides of most American cities are the shitty parts; it's downwind, and nobody wants to live where it's stinky and polluted.

Most of the stinky industries were located in the downwind parts of cities to being with, cities have continued to expand downwind of them. People who can afford to live upwind.

So maybe it's not that that the poor stink, maybe it's that poor have to live where it stinks (although the cooking and eating of "strange" foods by immigrants and the lower standard of sanitation affordable to the poor probably contributes to this). Half of Miami smells like the alley behind a Cuban restaurant.
