Hi!
I'm using MATLAB and it's impossible to type some characters like ^ [ ]. These characters are obviously really important for programming in MATLAB. Arrays, power etc.
I'm working around it by editing all files in Vim, which I would do anyway. But it's a bit annoying not being able to type what I want in the prompt when debugging or testing.
I have the same problem on my laptop, which has a similar setup. It works in the prompt when I run matlab -nodesktop, but in nodesktop mode there is no debugging..
MATLAB is really crucial to me since it's the number one tool in my studies. So if anyone has any idea it would be really helpful!
Edit:
I found a solution. For some reason it works
| Code: | | XMODIFIERS=XIM matlab |
