Some spaces disapear in my e-mails with thunderbird

Hi,

I have a strange behavior of Thunderbird since a few weeks and I cannot make out what the reason may be.
Some spaces disappear from the text after the mail is sent and my mails look ugly with words attached one to the other.
It seems to be quite ramdom.
Has somebody already experienced this problem ?
The trouble is the same on 2 installations of Gentoo (one with KDE and one with Gnome).

You running Gnome or Kde doesn't matter. But thunderbird version and use flags do.

And:
- The first thing of all software with personal .profile configs is to try to reproduce the symptoms with a fresh user profile of the special software at stake ...
- In this your case do control all your LANG specifics ...
