Emerging the drum machine "Trommler" failed due to what appears to be a call to a missing utility "emake" that is not available in the Gentoo repository:
Code:

>>> Failed to emerge media-sound/trommler-3.8, Log file:

>>>  '/var/tmp/portage/media-sound/trommler-3.8/temp/build.log'

 * Messages for package media-sound/trommler-3.8:

 * ERROR: media-sound/trommler-3.8 failed (compile phase):
 *   (no error message)
 *
 * Call stack:
 *     ebuild.sh, line  93:  Called src_compile
 *   environment, line 1990:  Called die
 * The specific snippet of code:
 *       emake export.h || die;

># emake
bash: emake: command not found

># ek emake
emerge: there are no ebuilds to satisfy "emake".

emerge: searching for similar names...
emerge: Maybe you meant any of these: sys-devel/remake, sys-devel/make, dev-util/premake?

Is this a fault with the Trommler ebuild or source code?

emake is not utility, it's a function. Drop the log into pastebin, please.

OK - not sure what "pastebin" is - do you want it posted here?

It appears you attempted to use Python3 with a Python script that is not yet compatible with Python3.

I take it this is something for the developers rather than myself.
