ive got a bone to pick with the portage tree over timer-applet.... its missing, the overlays do not help me. i tried to install my own ebuild and it keeps telling me the syntax ive used is invalid. gnomes timer-applet is essential to my every day life, i cant cook pizzas, do laundry, hard boil eggs, or step away from automated timed tasks with out it.... the overlays refer to gnome-python, and gnome-python-desktop..... not gnome-python-base, or gnome-python-desktop-base..... essentially the overlays are completely useless to me as my system does not have gnome-python or gnome-python-desktop

plz help teh helpless

(ps wmtimer & ktime & kteatime are NOT a viable alternative)
