startup sounds & logout sounds

my old doze computer used to have some sound clips i made from starwars and i would like to install them to gentoo....

login = emperor "in time you will call me master"
logout = yoda "you must not go!"

or for fun aol WELCOME, & GOODBYE

id prefer them to be played through sox as sox supports mp3s and i dont like having huge decompressed wav files laying around my system
