So basicly i want to share one of the desktops on my multi monitor system. or setup as another x instance, and desktop share that as a second monitor on both computers.
two computers, both sharing another screen as a second monitor. (even if you cant move programs across desktops) just keyboard and mouse.

One machine "the server" can control all desktops (move mouse cursor and type in all machines GUI). The "client" machines can control their own desktop only...
I don't understand what you want...
You could VNC into all the machines too? But synergy makes it look like one big desktop when it's really not. Cross platform too (you can mix windows and linux etc.) _________________ Intel Core i7 2700K/Radeon R7 250/24GB DDR3/256GB SSD

So you have two computers and two monitors, but one machine has both hooked up to it?
Not going to get very much performance with that second computer as the video card is not hooked up to the monitor?
You can always run a vncviewer on one of the monitors to the headless machine? _________________ Intel Core i7 2700K/Radeon R7 250/24GB DDR3/256GB SSD

Could you possibly rewrite that i was not able to make sense of it.
I have two computers, one has dual monitors setup. I want one computer to be able to access one of the duel monitors on the other computer.
like a shared dual monitor for both computers
<comp1 monitor> --- <comp2 monitor #2> -- <comp2 monitor #1>
---------------------- access from comp1 --- no access from comp1 |

Not sure if such program exists if you want transparent access to both screens per computer, you'll probably need a dual input monitor that can select between inputs... _________________ Intel Core i7 2700K/Radeon R7 250/24GB DDR3/256GB SSD
