Want to know this old HD's performance
Quote: |
root # hdparm /dev/hda
/dev/hda:
multcount = 16 (on)
IO_support = 0 (default 16-bit)
unmaskirq = 0 (off)
using_dma = 1 (on)
keepsettings = 0 (off)
readonly = 0 (off)
readahead = 8 (on)
geometry = 527/255/63, sectors = 8467200, start = 0
|
then
Quote: |
root # hdparm -t /dev/hda
|
after 2 or 3 minutes, what i got is
Quote: |
/dev/hda:
Timing buffered disk reads: read(1048576) returned 720896 bytes

This HD seems no problem at all, because no any trouble when i installed the system. Any suggestion? |
