Well the address is http://mega.co.nz, which seems to be down at the moment. http://www.websitedown.info/mega.co.nz
Not the greatest of starts. Kim Dot says that it's because of "unbeliveable demand" but they are adding "more capacity" or something on Twatter. |

I can believe that. Apparently they have 500,000 subscribers already and it isn't even a day old. Still not sure if/how it's Fed-proof, though. _________________

| Lots of talk about file sharing and Mega in the media, but strangely enough no reference to mega.co.nz and no word about legitimate music distribution. Maybe all illegal or not in the interest of the MAFIAA and their damn fucking media puppets. |

Distritbution of what? Mega is a 'cyberlocker', the same as Dropbox, MS Skydrive, Google Drive, Ubuntu One, etc.. _________________

Oh, so wildhorse was "complaining" about a lack of media coverage for legitimate services? I thought he was "complaining" about the media not discussing the legal side. Similar to how P2P isn't inherently illegal, regardless if it is used 99.99999% of the time for illegal activities. _________________ lolgov. 'cause where we're going, you don't have civil liberties.

Apparently safe for him.... files are encrypted locally, than spread into chunks in the cloud, the admins have no way to know what is stored in the servers or where. The user can share the key used to decrypt and locate the file with others and dotcom is not responsible for what the users do with their files. He will just comply to every inquiry from the fed and give out name and address of the copyright violators

But...does it? There appears to be confusion over whether it happened outside of Kim Got Dong's brain. |
